With team fit and culture a priority, this business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 2,500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four payroll officers to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Calculate and manage payroll tax, work cover, and superannuation contributions, ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
- Ensure adherence to relevant awards and agreements, maintaining full compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to resolve payroll-related issues and drive process improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on payroll system integrations and operational efficiencies.
- Manage the administration of payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and proper record maintenance.
- Perform reconciliation of payroll accounts and provide accurate reporting as required.

Experience with payroll systems such as SAP, ADP, or PayGlobal is highly advantageous.
