Located in the CBD with flexibility to work from home, this senior role is responsible for overseeing the payroll function and taking ownership over a number of key projects around process automation and improvement.
Position Description
Reporting directly into Shared Services Manager, your daily tasks will include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of five talented Payroll Officer's
- Managing an end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll of 3000 staff
- Ensuring payroll delivery, compliance to legislation, policies, award and EBA requirements
- Month/year end closing
- Overseeing key payroll projects and identifying process improvements
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
- Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following attributes:
- Experience working with a large scale business within payroll
- Previous experience using SuccessFactors (EC/ECP) & Kronos is essential
- End to end payroll knowledge, including payroll reconciliations, tax and award knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Well-organized, positive, pro-active and able to work in a team environment
