Position Description
Join a national business in a unique Payroll Compliance Officer role blending compliance investigation and payroll processing. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll ensure adequate procedures are in place to achieve compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate payroll compliance issues across the business.
- Prepare sets of data and analyse findings and variance to communicate to senior stakeholders
- Assist with payroll processing
- Interpret awards and EBAs, ensuring accurate application of entitlements.
- Support internal audits and maintain compliance records.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support payroll strategic decisions
- Ensure payroll compliance is being upheld with system changes
- Strong knowledge of EBAs, awards, and payroll legislation.
- Experience using Preceda an advantage
- Experience creating/using Crystal reporting an advantage
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Background in high-volume environments.
