Our client is a $4B digital infrastructure and solution provider who design, build, and maintain world-class digital infrastructure, encompassing fibre networks, communication platforms, residential internet, and voice services. They are looking for a Payroll Manager to solely look after the payroll function and manage the end-to-end payroll processing for all staff to ensure accurate delivery of payroll to all employees and contractors in an efficient and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing fortnightly end-to-end payroll processing for all staff, contractors and timesheet staff – 220 employees
  • PAYG, payroll tax, workcover, and superannuation calculation, reconciliation, reporting and payments
  • Preparation of payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger
  • Process of new starters, leavers and payroll adjustments
  • Calculation of all termination payments including redundancies
  • Management of all leave reporting including long service leave
  • Assisting Finance with end of month process and flash reporting
  • Management of novated leases and reconciliations
  • Assist with year-end queries from External Auditors
  • Centre of excellence for all payroll related and superannuation queries
  • Continued improvement of payroll processes
Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have proven autonomous payroll experience in a similar role, along with the following skills and attributes:
  • Proven experience managing operational finance teams
  • Possess ability to identify and develop strategic goals
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
