My client is looking for a driven and passionate Payroll Manager to join their organisation based in Macquarie Park. This is a fairly urgent position and they are looking for someone to start ASAP who is passionate about Payroll and able to handle different challenges that the industry can sometimes throw at you! The team under you are hardworking and supportive to their leader.
The Responsibilities:
Reporting to the GM of Finance your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
- Monthly Payroll Tax lodgement & reconciliation
- Monthly Superannuation payments
- Assisting with Single Touch Payroll file uploads each pay run
- Assisting and supporting team to lead the weekly pay-run
- Maintaining & monitoring over payment register
- Interpreting a number of EBAs/Awards
- Assisting with reconciling wages clearing accounts
- Day to day checking of payroll officer’s work and assisting them with general payroll questions/motivations.
The successful applicant
- Previous experience in Payroll Manager/ Senior Payroll role in a high volume environment
- Excellent Communication skills, friendly personality to liaise with stakeholders in business
- Ability to multi-task and juggle conflicting priorities
- Confidence to lead and guide the team.
- Strong payroll & tax knowledge
