Our client is a globally acclaimed, publicly listed business, with their Melbourne head office located in Collingwood (on site parking provided). They are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive team.
Duties
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 6, you will be responsible for:
- Processing the fortnightly payroll for Australia (approximately 2500 employees across the business in total)
- New starters and terminations
- Award interpretation
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
- Superannuation processing
- Payroll tax/PAYG
- Handling payroll queries
Successful Applicant
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position within a medium/large sized business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
