Due to continual growth and ongoing success, our client is looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to join their fast-paced Payroll team immediately. Duties
Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited too;

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll for 600+ employees
• Setting up new starters
• Processing terminations 
• Calculation of back pays and tax adjustments
• Handle relevant queries
• Modern Award interpretation
• Maintain payroll operations which include following policies and procedures and proactively identifying areas for process improvement

  
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following attributes:

• Ability to work independently and be a strong team player
• Motivated and positive can-do mindset
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task
