Our client is a business with a workforce rapidly growing in numbers. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their friendly and dynamic team on a minimum 10-month basis with possibility for extension.
Position Description
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your daily tasks will include:
- Payroll processing for a large volume of staff
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Calculating redundancies
- Other tasks as directed
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience with SAP a must
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience working in a large organisation
