The Organisation
Our client is a leading business in their industry, experiencing growth statewide. Fortunately, our client prides itself in taking care of their employees. They are seeking a motivated Payroll Officer to to join their fast paced environment immediately, for an initial three month period, and longer term views to follow. You will be required to work in a close knit payroll team in an end to end role!

Position Description 
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, your duties will include
  • End to End Payroll processing for 1200+ staff
  • Interpreting awards and EBAs
  • PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Additional tasks to support the Payroll team
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Senior Payroll Officer role as well as the following attributes:
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience using Chris21 advantageous (however not essential)

  • Attractive hourly rate (approx. $40 - $50 per hour + super, dependent on experience)
