Located on St Kilda Road, this position is a great opportunity for a payroll officer looking for their next challenge.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 10, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- End to end weekly and monthly payroll processing for 5500 employees
- Handling employee queries
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Assisting with processing of superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
- Ensuring that the data entered into the payroll system is accurate and consistent with the various Industry Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Payroll reconciliations as well as;
- Other duties as assigned by your Manager
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Experience working within medium/large scale organisations
- Experience with SuccessFactors (EC/ECP) would be advantageous, though not essential
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
