Our client in one of Australia’s market leaders in a rapidly growing industry. The need has arisen for an additional Payroll Officer to support the processing of their Victorian payroll. Working within a supportive team, this role will be suited for those that are able to hit the ground running and are looking for their next challenge.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Team Leader, you will form part of a team responsible for looking after the following:
- Processing a high volume payroll
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- System testing with new Awards/EBAs
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role along with the following attributes:
- Chris 21 experience is essential
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of superannuation, payroll tax and statutory requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Impeccable communication both written and verbal
