In a vitally important role, our client is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their growing team, where you will be responsible to ensure the delivery of end-to-end payroll processes are delivered on time, accurately, are compliant, seamless, and efficient for all departments. Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Processing fortnightly payroll for 350 employees
- Reconciliation of payroll tax, work cover and superannuation, and annual reconciliation
- Ensuring the accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
- System testing with new Awards/EBAs
Ideal Candidate
- Previous exposure to notable payroll systems such as Chris, SAP, Preceda, will be highly beneficial
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
