Our client is a well-known not-for-profit organisation. With the recent growth, the team is seeking an additional support in Payroll department. As a Payroll Officer and working in a team of 3, you will be responsible for processing payroll on a fortnightly basis. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.
Role:
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently on a fortnightly basis, including calculations for terminations, super, PAYG, and deductions.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all changes and updates are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, super, deductions, and leave.
- Previous experience as a Payroll Officer in an end to end capacity
- Strong knowledge of relevant WA legislation.
- Advantageous to have experience Chris21 software.
- Prior experience in Aged Care Industry will be an added advantage.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
