This is an exciting opening for a proactive Payroll Officer to join an outstanding People and Culture team.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinating payroll for a sizeable workforce, working collaboratively within the payroll team
- Handling onboarding paperwork for new hires and processing exit documentation for departing employees
- Managing salary increases, and assisting with end-of-month and year-end payroll activities
- Responding promptly and courteously to all payroll inquiries from across the organisation
- Performing daily administrative tasks such as filing, preparing starter packs, creating employee folders, collecting and reimbursing police checks
- Proven experience with a large payroll system such as SAP, PayGlobal, ADP, iChris
- Exceptional attention to detail—ensuring accuracy in every calculation and task
- Strong time management and organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities with ease
- Excellent verbal and written communication—clear, professional, and responsive
- Ability to thrive under deadlines in a collaborative team environment
- Flexible work arrangement: 2 days in the city office, 3 days from home
