The Position
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities.
- Process fortnightly, weekly and monthly pay runs, including timesheets and variations
- Set up new starters, process changes, and manage terminations and final pays including leave and redundancy calculations
- Interpret and apply Awards, EBAs, agreements and relevant legislation
- Calculate and process allowances, overtime and deductions
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end processing
- Manage payroll queries from employees and managers in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with Finance and HR, contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirements
- Confident working autonomously while collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Outgoing, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
