The Opportunity:
This role offers full responsibility for managing payroll for up to 250 employees on a fortnightly cycle. You will play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with multiple awards and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing (up to 250 employees, fortnightly)
- Accurate interpretation and application of multiple awards
- Processing new starters, terminations, leave calculations, and adjustments
- Superannuation, PAYG, and statutory compliance
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity
- Managing payroll queries with professionalism and confidentiality
- Identifying and implementing payroll process improvements
- Proven experience in full-function, end-to-end payroll
- Strong working knowledge of MYOB (essential)
- Demonstrated experience interpreting multiple awards
- Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of payroll
- Competitive salary: $80,000 – $85,000 + Super
