Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, this role includes but is not limited to:
- Process fortnightly pay runs
- Processing new starters, terminations, leave processing, overtime and report checking
- Interpretating relevant awards/EBA's and applying relevant policies
- Assist with WorkCover administration
- Accurately input daily, weekly or fortnightly timesheet
- Adjustment calculations
- Handle payroll queries
Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience as a Payroll Officer
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A desire and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
