About The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 6, you will be responsible for:
- Running a fortnightly and monthly payroll for approximately 500 employees
- Ensuring time sheets are submitted correctly and by the relevant deadlines
- Interpreting multiple EBA's
- Processing new starters, terminations and annual leave
- Assisting in the calculation of payroll tax / PAYG
- Payroll reporting
- Payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders
- As well as other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager
Successful Candidate
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
- Knowledge of Preceda payroll is essential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team based environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
