As an employer of choice, they provide top of the range services for individuals and organizations. They are currently looking for a part-time Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis, working each Monday and Tuesday, with the potential of a third day on offer. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join an industry leader. 


Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, and sitting within a small team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Process the end-to-end payroll using MicrOpay
  • Completion of PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover and Superannuation payments
  • Process new starters and terminations 
  • Maintain leave and leave reports 
  • Preparation of monthly payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger 
  • Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiencies
  • Respond to any employees queries 

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
  • Experience using MicrOpay
  • Proven experience with processing end to end Payroll 
  • A go-getter attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self motivated and can work in a team and autonomously 
  • Ability to build relationships with internal staff members
