Position Description
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Payroll processing for 300+ employees
  • Review timesheets on a fortnightly basis 
  • Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Interpreting numerous awards and EBAs
  • Processing new starters and terminations
  • Additional tasks to assist your payroll colleagues

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have minimum 2 years experience in a similar Payroll Officer position, along with the following skills and attributes:
  • Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
  • Motivated and can-do mindset
  • Desire to work collaboratively among a supportive team

Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation based in Footscray. With on-site parking, a great culture, and excellent flexibility whereby you are only required in the office one day per week, this role is perfect for a motivated individual who is ready for their next challenge! Due to continued growth within the business, our client is seeking a dynamic Payroll Officer to join their team on an ongoing flexible full-time or part-time basis, for a minimum three month period.
