A brilliant opportunity presents for an experienced and high performing Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Officer to take ownership of the end to end payroll operations.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the role will include but not be limited to:
- End to end fortnightly payroll processing for 150+ employees
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
- Processing payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business, efficiently managing employees queries
- Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency
- Reconciliation of payroll accounts as required
- Building effective working relationships with all stakeholders and provide support as required
- Support the delivery of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as performance review cycles
- Relevant reporting duties across payroll and HR
- Maintenance and distribution of relevant policies and procedures
Candidate Profile
The successful application will have a strong background in payroll, with an ability to confidently take ownership of the payroll function, with a combined passion for human resources. You will have effective time management and organisational skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a broader team setting. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a willingness to be flexible will be essential for this position. Prior experience using employment hero is advantageous!
