Job Responsibilities
Reporting directly into the Group Payroll Manager, and mentoring a team your duties will include:
- Leading a small team of two staff and responsible for managing a fortnightly payroll
- Payroll processing for staff including pay adjustments, leave forms
- Processing of annual, long service and personal leave
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Mentoring and leading the payroll team of seven staff
- Preparation of end of month payroll reporting
- Interpretation of numerous EBAs and Awards
- Other duties as requested from the Payroll Manager
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a similar payroll leadership role as well as the following attributes:
- Large payroll system experience such as SAP, UKG, iChris is required
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Prior experience in interpreting EBAs and awards
- Excellent time management skills
