Responsibilities
Reporting into the People & Culture team, this role will manage 5 direct reports, and will involve but won't be limited to the following:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes
- Ensure compliance, governance & audit readiness
- Lead payroll projects including time & attendance upgrades, STP, PLSL and other compliance projects
- Act as escalation point for complex issue resolution
- Driving continuous improvement and Chris21 system optimisation
- Implement effective risk management strategies & controls monitoring
- Mentoring and developing payroll team members
- $125-135k + super

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Prior Chris21 system experience is a must have
- Significant payroll experience in a complex, award/EBA driven environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience operating within a manual timesheet environment advantageous
- High attention to detail and analytical capability
- A collaborative and strategic mindset
