About the Role
This newly created position sits within a freshly formed ER & Governance team, designed to uplift governance and compliance across the organisation. You’ll report to an impressive and supportive leader, a highly regarded lawyer by trade, who is committed to building a best-practice function and empowering her team to succeed.

As a standalone specialist, you’ll take ownership of people governance, policy, and compliance initiatives, partnering closely with leaders to strengthen processes and mitigate risk. This is a pivotal role where you can make an immediate impact and leave a legacy as the organisation scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, review, and implementation of people policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal controls, and risk management processes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to embed governance practices that enable a high-performing culture.
  • Analyse and report on governance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous uplift.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on governance-related matters.
About You
You thrive in environments where you can build structure and influence change. Your background may be in Employee Relations or Governance, what’s most important is your ability to drive compliance and create simple, effective frameworks that work for the business.

You will bring:
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations, People governance or policy development (P&C experience highly regarded but not essential).
  • Ability to work autonomously in a standalone specialist capacity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for embedding best practice.
