As part of this transformation, we’re looking for experienced Platform Engineers to support and enhance the Microservices & Event Driven Architecture (MEDA) Platform hosted in the Cloud.

This is a brilliant opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex platform challenges, uplifting cloud capability, and working with modern DevOps tooling that supports scalable, secure and flexible digital services.

About the Role

You’ll play a key part in supporting and evolving the MEDA Platform — a modern, cloud-based microservices environment enabling faster delivery of customer-focused solutions.
You’ll bring strong hands-on engineering capability, excellent documentation skills, and a passion for automation, quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Microservices & Event-Driven Platform (AWS Cloud)
• Develop scalable, secure, DevOps-ready platform components
• Automate manual processes to improve reliability and delivery speed

• Collaborate closely with QA, Security and Architecture to uplift standards
• Champion cloud best-practice and knowledge-sharing across the team
• Document solutions, changes, procedures and platform artefacts clearly
• Assist with lifecycle patching across tools including EKS, Trivy, Fluentbit, kube-bench, Metric Server, NGINX Ingress and related components
• Manage changes and risks in line with ITIL frameworks and governance standards

Skills & Experience
We’re keen to speak with engineers who have experience across:
Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, and/or AWS
• Lifecycle patching and maintenance of cloud-native platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practice
• High-quality documentation and knowledge sharing
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
• AWS certifications (Associate or Professional) are highly regarded
• Experience across both public and private sector environments is beneficial

What’s in it for You?

• Work within a supportive, forward-thinking digital transformation environment
• Engage with modern cloud-native tooling and microservices architecture
• Opportunity to meaningfully influence platform uplift and engineering practice
• Hybrid working environment (Brisbane-based)
