Position Overview:
As the lead Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of cases. You will work closely with elderly individuals to develop tailored treatment plans that promote healthy feet and general wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with foot and ankle disorders through physical examination and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that may include footwear recommendations, orthotic fittings, wound care, and surgical interventions.
- Provide patient education on proper foot care, prevention of conditions, and maintenance of overall foot health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in podiatry and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine or Bachelor of Podiatry.
- 2 years experience as a Podiatrist
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of podiatric medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
