About the Position
Reporting to Chief Information Officer, the Manager Portfolio Management is an executive level ICT leadership role with accountability for the planning and delivery of the ICT Program of Work in accordance with Council quality standards and timeframes. Portfolio Delivery delivers ICT Program of Work (a budget in excess of $70M annually, staffing in excess of 200 people and in excess of 150 projects) that support the organisation to deliver its' outcomes efficiently, consistently and in a standardised manner.

A key aspect of the role is the continued improvement of delivery methodologies, standards and guidelines to enable Information Services to consistently deliver the ICT Program of Work outcomes for council to budget, on time and exceeding customer expectations. The role will develop, maintain and model excellent relationships within Information Services and across Council encouraging a customer centric perspective and partnerships to achieve ICT goals with benefits realisation as a top priority.

About the Person
You are a values-driven senior leader who brings a high standard of professional ethics and integrity. Your will bring experience from within a large, complex ICT function in a significant commercial organisation or similar public sector environment. You will demonstrate success in leading a program management function underpinned by expertise in risk management, reporting, managing multi-disciplinary teams within an IT delivery environment. Adept at stakeholder engagement and management, you will be able to develop a strong customer focus within an organisation; as well as be able to influence and build strong interpersonal relationships across the team and the Council.
