The Procurement & Contracts Manager will play a critical role across pre-bid, bid, and mobilisation phases, ensuring procurement strategies support competitive delivery and long-term project success.
You will be involved early, influencing outcomes, securing critical packages, and working closely with commercial and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement and contract management for major capital projects
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned to bid and delivery requirements
- Manage tendering, negotiation, and award of complex, high-risk packages
- Engage suppliers early to secure long-lead and critical-path items
- Provide commercial challenge and guidance to senior project stakeholders
- Support risk mitigation, cost control, and schedule certainty through procurement
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across engineering, commercial, and delivery teams
- Demonstrated experience in project-based procurement within infrastructure environments
- Background in Energy, Utilities, Power, Transmission or similar capital-intensive sectors essential
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen with experience managing complex packages
- Confident negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
