This role plays a key part in maintaining product excellence, building supplier partnerships, and ensuring the seamless management of stock, pricing, and data — all while contributing to innovation and operational efficiency.
The Role
The Product Specialist will oversee a wide range of stock and supplier-related activities, ensuring accurate data, strategic purchasing, quality control, and alignment across internal functions.
Reporting to the Executive Manager – Strategic Product, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of product performance and lifecycle, collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance, and contribute to wider improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role offering variety and scope to contribute to both operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee product data, pricing, and lifecycle — ensuring accuracy and commercial alignment
- Forecast demand and analyse stock performance to inform purchasing and product decisions
- Raise purchase orders and monitor stock levels to support business needs
- Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts
- Conduct cost analysis and margin reporting, ensuring price competitiveness
- Ensure quality control compliance and perform regular checks across product categories
- Maintain mapping data and oversee updates for new and existing locations
- Coordinate marketing support, signage, and promotional initiatives
- Identify and research trends to support product innovation and operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with organisational and industry regulations
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong commercial mindset and stakeholder management skills. You’re comfortable working autonomously while juggling multiple priorities and understand how to deliver both operational efficiency and product excellence.
