About the role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day packing operations and providing clear direction to a team of operators. You will ensure production schedules, operating instructions, and shift tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and regulatory standards.
Roster: rotating 12-hour shifts across a 24/7 operation
Location: Northern suburbs, Brisbane
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and site quality standards
- Supervise automated packing lines to achieve throughput, efficiency, and OEE targets
- Optimise labour allocation and support effective shift handovers
- Work closely with maintenance on fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Coach, develop, and manage performance of packing operators
- Leadership within a process manufacturing or automated packing environment
- FMCG, food manufacturing, milling, or packaging operations (highly regarded)
- Mechanical aptitude with exposure to automation, sensors, PLCs, or fault-finding
- Working collaboratively with maintenance, QA, and logistics teams
- Continuous improvement frameworks such as LEAN, TPM, or 5S
- Strong communication, judgement, and people leadership capability
- High-risk forklift licence
