This will be a multifaceted role responsible for the following:
Program Support and Administration
- Collaborate with team members to improve internal processes (records, reporting, finance)
- Act as document controller for all program artefacts
- Provide secretariat support for program and project boards
- Provide operational support for tasks such as booking workshops and meetings, managing team calendars and shared mailboxes, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, and arranging equipment and supplies.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles, ideally within the Queensland Government
- Proven success in supporting teams with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, accurate project documents, and to quality assure work before it is distributed
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines, and escalate when needed
- Effective problem solving, with the skills to resolve issues in pressure environments with tact, collaboration and mutual respect.
