Our client is a well-known national private developer that specialises in large scale mixed use and boutique high end residential projects. Over the last decade they have established a reputation for delivering innovative, designed focused developments. The company has an experienced senior management and executive team that has a focus on high performance and collaboration across all their business units. They have a significant pipeline that will be delivered over the next five years and are highly active looking for new acquisitions. Due to their significant pipeline, they are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Director to manage the construction delivery of their developments and provide expert knowledge in this area.
The Position – Project Director
Reporting to the Head of Development, you will lead the internal project management function to provide project delivery services to the Development Management and Asset Management divisions. With exposure to the full development lifecycle you will provide expert advice in design/consultant management, the tender process and selecting an external contractor, cost management, programming and delivery. During the construction phase of the development, you will work closely with external contractors to ensure all quality, program and cost parameters are achieved.
About You
We are looking for a senior project management professional with a proven track record of delivering complex mixed use and high end residential projects. It is essential that you have a proven track record of delivering high end projects with a high emphasis on quality. It is anticipated you will have the following skillset/experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or another related discipline in the industry.
- Proven experience working as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director for a Builder, Developer or Project Management Consultancy.
- Demonstrable leadership skills and a collaborative approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
