We have a 12 month fixed term contract for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the implementation of agreed recovery recommendations for a critical project in delivery.
  
The role will work closely with the vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the recovery plan and to position the organisation for sustainable operations beyond the project’s conclusion. A key focus includes assessing future ERP system requirements to support ongoing business needs and enable an effective transition to business-as-usual.
  
  
Key Activities:
  
  • Review current and future ERP requirements based on project outcomes.
  • Assess vendor solutions and internal capability gaps.
  • Provide recommendations for next-phase ERP selection or enhancement.
  • Engage stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Operations to define priorities.
  • Implementation of Recovery Recommendations
  • Translate review findings into a vendor aligned implementation plan.
  • Coordinate with vendor project lead to ensure agreed recovery actions are prioritised and resourced.
  • Monitor vendor delivery milestones and address blockers jointly.
  • Maintain clear accountability matrix between organisation and vendor.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of the revised project plan.
  • Track vendor progress against contractual milestones.
    
Skills and Attributes
  
  • Proven success leading recovery of complex or vendor-led projects.
  • Experience coordinating internal and vendor delivery teams under tight deadlines.
  • Exposure to ERP implementation or transition projects.
  • Strong understanding of project recovery and governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, integration, and business process alignment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively
