Our client is an outstanding organisation who have gone through some exciting growth. They are currently looking for a Project Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive payroll team in a 12-month fixed term contract.
Job Details
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with Payroll Compliance projects
- Assisting with Processing payroll
- Shadowing the payroll team and filling in where there are gaps which could mean the following:
- New starters and terminations
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
- Handling payroll queries
- Other ad hoc duties
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience working in a payroll position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
- Ability to understand how payroll changes impact the overall future of how payroll is calculated
- Comfortable to challenge the status quo and make recommendations
