Commercial Property Manager

Our client is a successful Development Group and Landlord managing a mixed use portfolio in commercial and residential assets across Metropolitan Melbourne. This privately owned group are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join and bolster their internal Asset Management Division.  

The Role: 

As the Property Manager, you will work closely with the child care centre operators and internal stakeholders to manage portfolio of 20 commercial assets.
 
Key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Assisting with budget preparation and reporting 
• Reviewing Lease documentation and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
• Liaising with tenants, contractors, managing agents, leasing executives and solicitors 
• Assisting in ongoing lease documentation
• Maintaining schedules for all key documentation, rent reviews, lease expiries and other critical dates
• Assisting in the delivery and coordinating all maintenance requests 
• Arrears management
• Provide general administration and reporting support

  
Job Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience required for the position

The successful candidate will have:

• Appropriate Diploma/ Agents Rep or tertiary qualifications 
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in the property or real estate industry - ideally commercial
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a can do attitude 
• Strong motivation and attention to detail

• Salary Package up to $90k p.a. 
• Mobile phone allowance and laptop
• Monday to Friday role / 37.5 hrs per week
