The Position
  
Our client is seeking an experienced Publishing Officer for a minimum 2 month contract to support the Publishing Manager and wider policy team. The well-known NDIS leader has a strong reputation in the market and offers an inclusive and support culture.  

The Role
  • Monitor and respond to requests in the Policy team inbox or forward to appropriate team members.
  • Liaise with staff to facilitate timely reviews and republication of quality-controlled documents.
  • Monitor workflows to ensure stakeholders receive necessary templates and document versions promptly.
  • Perform routine maintenance of the master document library and SharePoint lists.
  • Alert stakeholders to changes in document titles, IDs, and archival for system updates.
  • Support preparation for regulatory desktop audit processes.
  • Assist Policy Manager and Publishing and Policy Coordinator with various tasks.
  • Attend and contribute to routine team meetings.
  • Participate in relevant organisational working groups as needed.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience ideally working within a similar publishing officer position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in creating PDF forms with calculations and actions.
  • Experienced in using SharePoint columns (document properties).
  • Knowledge of SharePoint group settings and properties.

Your attention to detail and experience working across PDF forms, SharePoint and MS Suite will see you hit the ground running in this role. Please note the successful candidate will need to successfully complete the below background checks. Having the below checks already processed would be highly desirable.

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • National Police Check clearance.
  • Rights to Work in Australia.
  • Current Australian Driver’s License (unrestricted).
