They are seeking an experienced QA Manager to join the team on a 6-12-month contract basis in the southeast of Melbourne, with the likelihood of becoming permanent.
About the Role
As the QA Manager, your key responsibilities will involve developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This will be a standalone role who will be conducting regular audits and inspections to drive continuous quality enhancement initiatives.
Additionally, you'll manage the resolution of customer complaints and non-conformance issues, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to address quality issues and drive corrective actions. Stakeholder engagement will be a crucial aspect of your role, requiring effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction across all levels.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QA management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably from food or pharmaceutical.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
