About the role
As part of a dedicated QA team, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety, quality standards, and compliance across the site. Working closely with production, NPD, maintenance, and warehouse teams, your focus will be on ensuring every product is made Right First Time.
You’ll conduct QA checks and environmental testing, investigate customer complaints, and manage non-conforming products and quality records. The role also involves supporting HACCP reviews, GMP audits, and training operations staff to promote a strong food safety culture. You'll present findings at toolbox meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline
- Must be able to eat all types of meat.
- Ability to work between the hours of 4pm-midnight.
- Must have full work rights in Australia - no sponsorship available.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing, ideally in baking.
- Solid understanding of HACCP, food safety standards, and QA processes.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A proactive and flexible team player who can also work autonomously.
