They are looking for a dedicated Quality Team Lead to join their Melbourne team and support their mission to deliver premium, safe, and nutritious food products.
About the role
As the Quality Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the site meets HACCP, GMP, and GFSI standards while managing document control, product release processes, and regulatory compliance. This hands-on role focuses on audits, training, CAPA management, and driving continuous improvement to maintain the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll work closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and external compliance bodies. Key responsibilities include leading internal audits, managing CAPA programs, delivering quality training, monitoring complaints, and ensuring food safety compliance across the facility.
Skills and experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a quality supervisor role within a food environment.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in applied science or science with a major in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
- Proven ability to manage audits, document control and quality systems.
- Strong computer and systems skills.
- Excellent organiaational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and compliance.
