About the role

An exciting 12-month opportunity exists for an Engineering/ERP Configurator to join the team and support the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365. In this role, you’ll be responsible for configuring and maintaining engineering data within the ERP system to ensure seamless integration across planning, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. This is a cross-functional position working closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, item masters, and version control in D365
  • Coordinate and manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process
  • Collaborate with key departments to align product data and drive implementation readiness
  • Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all engineering changes
  • Support accurate costing, planning, and compliance through structured data
  • Standardise product configuration rules and continuously improve ERP integration

What we’re looking for
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP systems)
  • Expertise in BOMs, routings, product configuration, and engineering change processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
