About the Role
Your role as the R&D Manager will lead and implement product development plans, overseeing a team dedicated to executing multiple projects in product innovation and renovation. From conceptualization and recipe development to trial, factory validation, and commercial production, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in executing the innovation pipeline. The R&D Manager plays a hands-on role in product development and is responsible for managing, coaching, and developing direct reports to achieve high levels of performance and engagement. The team focuses on developing and commercializing new products in the fresh and frozen meals categories for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Food Science or related Science disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of technical and professional research & development experience in consumer goods, preferably in the food industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 5+ direct reports in product development.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced, commercially-driven food company.
