- Role: Registered Nurse- Neuro/ Stroke
- Setting: Victorian Public healthcare
- Focus: General Medical, Renal and Stroke patients
- Practice in accordance with relevant legislation and within a professional, ethical framework to ensure the protection of individual and group rights.
- Uphold a respectful, dignified, and courteous environment for all patients, clients, visitors, and staff, ensuring freedom from harassment and discrimination.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient health outcomes.
- Demonstrate commitment to organisational change initiatives and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Maintain accountability and responsibility for the delivery of high-quality direct patient care, including comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
- Support and promote compliance with the mandatory competency framework for the clinical unit, ensuring timely resolution of compliance issues.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and professionalism within the clinical environment.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the unit specialty
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team as well as independently, with an ability to prioritise, set goals and objectives
