A global chemical manufacturer are looking for a S&OP Manager to establish and lead an integrated S&OP function across Australia.
  
About the Role:
This is a newly created position designed to bring together fragmented elements of planning across the organisation into a structured S&OP cycle. You’ll work closely with Sales, Production, Procurement and Inventory to align timelines and forecasts, improve visibility, reduce inefficiencies, and ultimately drive better business outcomes.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and embed a formal S&OP cycle across all Australian operations
  • Own the 12-month rolling demand forecast across all categories
  • Translate the demand plan into an optimised, cost-effective supply plan in line with plant capabilities and capacity
  • Provide leadership across the planning function including demand, production, inventory, and freight analysis, managing a team of 5
  • Act as the operational bridge between Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing – improving communication, transparency, and collaboration
  • Analyse freight movement nationally
  • Implement and facilitate monthly S&OP meetings with robust agendas and clearly defined action plans
  • Drive SKU rationalisation initiatives in conjunction with Product Managers and Operations
  • Support ongoing process and system improvements to strengthen end to end supply chain visibility
  
This role is based in Lytton, QLD with occasional travel to other states.

You will have:
  • Experience in S&OP, ideally in FMCG or a related manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals including forecasting, production planning and inventory
  • Ability to lead change and influence stakeholders across different functions and levels
  • Proven track record of building processes and driving continuous improvement
  • A collaborative, confident and analytical mindset
