Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will include:
- Management of support staff in relation to data entry support, where applicable
- Preparation of annual budgets across international subsidiaries and monthly reporting
- Preparation of revised profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet forecasts across international subsidiaries
- Assistance with the preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of detailed expenditure analysis for use in project closeout reporting
- Preparation of commercial reports requested by the Board of Directors
- Reconciliation of multi-currency creditor accounts
- Processing of multi-currency sales invoices
The successful candidate will possess:
- Degree and CA/CPA qualified
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficient with the MYOB system
- Proven ability to manage month end (end to end) accounting without supervision
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with both finance and operational staff
- Excellent business knowledge and strong commercial understanding to provide analysis and commentary on financial performance
