About the role
An exciting, immediate start opportunity with a multinational industry-leading organisation who are a genuine "Employer of Choice" in their sector, exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This hands-on role will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Monthly & Annual Reporting: Lead the preparation of consolidated financial results, manage reconciliations, and coordinate external audits and financial statement preparation.
- Technical Accounting: Handle accounting for loans, derivatives, fixed assets, and inventory. Prepare technical papers and policy documentation as needed.
- Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in payments and invoicing.
- Treasury & Compliance: Maintain cash flow forecasts, support debt covenant reporting, and ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to support financial decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tax, FBT and related compliance control and reporting.
- Ad-hoc continuous improvement initiatives
You will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Previous work experience in a large, complex multinational organisation will be regarded as highly advantageous and/or prior experience within a Big-4/Mid-Tier chartered accounting environment.
