Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will complete varying finance duties on a day to day basis, and work within a small, close knit team. The client is really looking for someone who is driven, enthusiastic and is a go-getter, ready to sink their teeth into an exciting new challenge! This is a terrific opportunity for a motivated Senior Accounts Officer.
Position Description
You will work closely with the Financial Controller, and be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
- End to end accounts payable
- End to end accounts receivable
- Monthly reconciliations and end of month journals
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Collecting funds on behalf of franchisees
- Processing payments monthly as well as;
- Other ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your Manager
Ideal Candidate
With prior experience within a similar transactional accounting role, you will have excellent relationship management capabilities, and a desire to continuously improve processes. Accompanied with a high level of attention to detail, you will have a demonstrated ability to grasp new information, capability to meet reporting deadlines, and seek relevant information when necessary. You are proficient with MS Excel and capable of working as part of a team.
