Our client is an established global company that is looking for an energetic and experience Accounts Receivable Officer/Credit controller to join their supportive team. The role is a permanent position, which is heavily based around reducing the age of debts through appropriate collection, receipting and liaising with customers and stakeholders.
The responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage large customer ledger - high dollar value
- Credit assessments
- Banking, Allocation & Receipting
- Bank reconcilations
- Investigation of un-reconciled payments
- Customer service, investigations and dispute resolution
- Stakeholder management
- Following up on outstanding debt
- Managing month-end AR close-off process and producing monthly aged debtor reports
- At least 5-years experience within the Credit and Accounts Receivable space, with strong end-to-end experience
- Excellent communication skills, (written and verbal) for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience using an ERP software system
- Strong excel skills (v-look ups and pivot tables)
- Good attention to detail
