We have partnered exclusively with a leading ASX-listed organisation in the resources sector who are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially astute Senior Corporate Accountant to join their Perth-based head office. This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure to corporate reporting, payroll oversight, and financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the corporate finance function, with responsibilities including:
- Oversight of payroll processes, including STP, PAYG, payroll tax, and employee share schemes
- Management of bank accounts, cash forecasting, and transactional banking
- Administration of corporate credit cards and reconciliation processes
- Approval of new suppliers and management of one direct report - Accounts Officer
- Coordination of insurance data and liaison with brokers and insurers
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and FBT returns
- Maintenance of the Delegation of Authority register
- Collaboration with HR on remuneration reviews, modelling, and reporting
- Contribution to monthly corporate reporting and development of data packs for executive leadership
- CA/CPA qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP such as SAP or Pronto
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and with global teams
- Exposure to Power BI or dashboard tools (highly regarded)
