About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading player in the Infrastructure & Resources industry. As a pivotal member of the Finance team, you will contribute to the success of the Resources Business Unit, playing a key role in shaping strategic financial and commercial outcomes.

The Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Undertake a trusted advisory position and business partner with your unit, providing financial and commercial analysis to support strategic outcomes. Key areas of focus include;
  • Financial Management: Implement standardized best practices, focusing on cost analysis to drive financial performance.
  • Analysis Expertise: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including modeling, variance/scenario analysis, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Reporting Leadership: Lead month-end close processes and deliver insightful reporting to support decision-making.
  • Budgeting Collaboration: Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with key stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Continuous process improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements in financial processes through data-driven insights and industry best practices, optimizing operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Finance, along with CPA/CA certification.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in large, complex businesses, with a strong understanding of SAP and BI systems.
  • Collaborative Approach: Demonstrated ability to work with and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, with a preference for experience in SAP and BI tools
