This Senior Finance Business Analyst role is with a leading global FMCG company known for its innovative, market-leading brands and strong presence across the globe. Our client operates in a highly competitive, fast-moving environment, and has gone through a period of growth whilst continuing to scale up higher. Sitting within a high-performing finance team, this role is a true business partnering opportunity where you’ll work closely with sales, marketing and category teams to drive strategic decisions through financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales, marketing, and category teams to drive revenue growth and margin improvement across core product lines.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and support the evaluation of promotional strategies to ensure commercial viability and ROI.
- Conduct detailed analysis of inventory performance, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to optimise working capital.
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including month-end close commentary, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and market trends.
- Use data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- CA/CPA qualifications or working towards.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial finance, ideally within FMCG, retail, or a product-based business.
- Inventory, cost and pricing analysis experience is a must.
- Strong financial modelling skills (advanced Excel or Power BI) with proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
